Sistem Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Filsafat Prancis Kontemporer
Abstract
Prancis dikenal sebagai negeri yang memberikan sumbangsih besar terhadap perkembangan filsafat kontemporer. Melalui tulisan ini penulis akan menganalisis prakondisi institusional dari sumbangsih tersebut. Penulis akan menunjukkan bahwa kekayaan wacana filsafat Prancis kontemporer mensyaratkan institusionalisasi filsafat baik secara formal (dalam wujud kurikulum dan institusi pendidikan) maupun informal (dalam ranah kebudayaan). Pada gilirannya, institusionalisasi ini dimungkinkan karena ada keperluan dari masyarakat itu sendiri, sebagaimana tercermin dalam kebijakan negara Prancis modern, akan filsafat sebagai basis universal bagi seluruh pendidikan. Dalam artikel ini, kita akan juga akan melihat bagaimana institusionalisasi tersebut berperan besar dalam mewujudkan kekayaan khazanah pemikiran Prancis pasca-Perang Dunia kedua.
